Mustache and Tie Banner
Are you throwing a party for Father’s Day? Then you’re going to need some fun decorations, and this homemade banner will be the perfect accent on your mantel or wall!
Have fun picking out mustache designs and colorful patterned papers so you can make this project your own.
You will need:
Colorful patterned scrapbook papers
Black scrapbook paper
Recycled cereal box
Baker’s twine or other string
Tools: glue stick, scissors, tape
Patterns for mustaches and ties
Print out the patterns. Cut paper and cereal box into sizes appropriate to fit the patterns. Attach scrapbook paper to cereal box pieces.
Use the patterns to cut out the ties and mustaches. Cut simple triangles for the banner flags, leave a small flap at the top to fold over the string.
Once all your shapes are cut out, fold the flaps over the string and tape it closed. Shapes should move freely back and forth along the string.
Now simply hang your banner wherever you like!
