Food Art: Sunshine Kix Snack
This bright and tasty sunshine snack is sure to bring a smile to your little one’s face – and probably to your face too!
What You’ll Need
Ingredients:
1 slice of naval orange
a bowl of honey Kix cereal
2 blueberries
1 raspberry
1 slice of strawberry
Tools:
A sharp kitchen knife (please supervise children if they are helping you with the slicing!)
How To Make It
1. Place your slice of naval orange on a plate. Grab your honey Kix cereal and start making triangle shapes around the orange slice (3 on bottom, 2 in middle and 1 on the top). Continue these triangles all the way around the orange slice.
2. Add a raspberry to the middle of your orange slice for a cute nose.
3. Add 2 blueberries to your orange slice for the eyes.
4. Finally, using your knife (supervise children please!), slice your strawberry into a smile shape and place this smile on your sunshine snack
