Food Art: April Flowers
Spring is here and with it comes new growth. Flowers will be popping up all over the place and new life will be beginning. This yummy flower snack is beautiful to look at, and delicious to eat. With only 3 ingredients, you can whip this snack up in no time!
What You’ll Need
Ingredients:
1 red apple
1 stalk of celery
a handful of Kix cereal
Tools:
a kitchen knife (please supervise children if allowing them to slice)
How To Make It
1. Using your knife, slice your red apple into petal shapes. Arrange these petals in a circle on a plate with an opening in the center.
2. Place some Kix cereal in the center of your flower.
3. Using your knife, slice a thin piece from your celery stalk. Place this underneath your flower for the stem.
