DIY Gift: Family Snowglobes

Make your own personalized snowglobes easily with family photos and even memorabilia! A snowglobe can be a great DIY gift for kids to make to showcase a favorite family photo or a fun fishing trip with Grandpa.

Start with a clean, empty jar, a laminated photo, glitter or other “floating” items and (optional) rocks or other small waterproof piece of memorabilia.

Place the photo in the jar (it works best if the photo is curved just a bit to fit, that way it stays in place) and fill with water.

Add glitter or small pieces of plastic confetti to the water.

Clean and add memorabilia to the jar – like these rocks collected on a fishing trip.

Seal jar well and shake!
