Food Art: Banana Cream "Pi" Day Treat

Help celebrate Pi day on March 14th with this easy and yummy treat.  What better way to celebrate Pi day than by eating pie?!  Math-lovers alike with delight in this delicious no-bake pie that is so simple to make.

What You’ll Need

Ingredients:

1 whole banana, peeled

1 cup of banana pudding

1/2 cup whipped cream

1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs

A handful of milk chocolate chips

Tools:

A kitchen knife (please supervise children if allowing them to slice)

A plastic baggie

 

How To Make It:

Graham crackers and bananas for Pi Day

1. Fill the bottom of a glass with 1/4 cup of graham crackers crumbs.

2. Slice half of your banana into thin slices and place on top of the graham cracker crumbs.

3. Add a layer of banana pudding on top of the bananas.

4. Slice up the last half of your banana and place the banana slices on top of the pudding.

5. Top the bananas with some whipped cream.

6. Melt your chocolate chips in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring often.  Once melted, pour the melted chocolate in a plastic baggie and cut off a tiny tip of the bag.  Pipe the ‘Pi’ symbol on top of the whipping cream.  Supervise children with the microwave and melting of the chocolate.  Melted chocolate can be hot.
