Food Art: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
This Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer toast was really fun to make with the kids. They loved helping me in the kitchen with this, and loved gobbling him up even more! It also makes for an easy breakfast to eat right before unwrapping presents.
What You’ll Need
Ingredients:
1 slice of whole wheat bread, toasted
peanut butter
1 raspberry
2 raisins
2 pretzel twists
Tools:
a kitchen knife (please supervise children if allowing them to slice)
a circle cookie cutter – or you can use the open end of a drinking glass
How To Make It
1. Place your piece of whole wheat toast on a plate and cut it into a circle shape using either a circle cookie cutter (if you have one) or you can use the open end of a large drinking glass.
2. Spread some peanut butter on your circle piece of toast.
3. Place 2 mini pretzel twists at the top of the circle for the reindeer’s antlers.
4. Add on the face details – 2 raisins for the eyes, 1 raspberry for the red-nose, and a small slice of raspberry for the mouth.
