Pumpkin Kix Snack
Add a little pumpkin spice kick to your regular Kix cereal for an autumn flair of fun! This sweet snack is easy to make, is done in 5 minutes, and even the kids can help make it. Great for just grabbing and eating, or for topping a tasty yogurt and apple parfait!
You will need:
Rimmed baking sheet
Honey Kix cereal (about 3 1/2 cups)
Pumpkin pie spice
Honey
Bowl
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Pour enough Kix cereal onto the baking sheet to make a single layer, approximately 3 1/2 cups.
Sprinkle the cereal lightly with pumpkin pie spice, giving the cereal an even coating.
Drizzle the top with honey, shake the pan back and forth a bit to distribute it.
Place baking sheet in the oven and cook for 2-3 minutes, just to melt the honey.
Remove from oven and carefully pour into a bowl. Stir cereal to help coat while the honey is still warm.
Allow snack to cool before serving.
For a tasty parfait, layer yogurt and apple chunks and top with Pumpkin Kix Snack for a creamy, crunchy treat. If you like, add milk and enjoy a bowl of pumpkin spice flavored cereal instead!
